2 New Releases on Let´s Go To War!
Yes, it´s true, two new releases are on the way.
“As aventuras do princepe Achmed” is a soundtrack by the 1926 animated film by Lotte Reiniger especially composed and improvised by the Space Ensemble. This ensemble gathers some of the most active musicians that usually play on the Space Festival, including it´s mentor, guru and organizer.
Pleghmatic Plump´s “Plutocrat” is the result of one year of occasional meetings between Gustavo and Peter, member of the dutch collective R:IP (Rotterdam Improvisatie Poel). All the meetings were recorded, followed by some hard work selecting the best shots of the recordings. There was also some reinvention on some tracks, with further digital processing and manipulation. |

Most People Have Been Trained To be Bored
“Success in cheap prices” will finally see the light of day in September 2006, after successive delays. The cd will be released by Porto´s record label Bor-Land, more known in the field for releasing indie rock albums. However, its policy is now more open to other genre, being this release a living proof. To celebrate this epic event, a tour ranging almost ten countries is being booked, where you can listen not the tracks of this cd, but the “songs” of the Lost Gorbachevs. Confused? Good…

Lost Gorbachevs
With less than one year of activity, Lost Gorbachevs have been particularly active in the past months. After the release of it´s first CD-R here on Let´s Go To War and a whole bunch of wild concerts, the band is preparing to release a full length CD on a new record label. The cd will contain some short and tight songs plus a side B full of structured improvisation and very special guests.

Soopa cryptic cosmic news
You should read between the lines. This is not a game. Many people doubt but Soopa is planning to take control over strategic places in the near future and they started with stop.
Meetings in Paris, playing brushteeths with Eugene Chadbourne, spiritual records with the name of Herzbeat Hotel, New New Age records by Brutos da Natureza, assless cartoons, it´s all part of the plan.
